Smart City Day

  • Half Step 75 Rainey Street Austin, TX, 78701 United States (map)

Connected technologies are transforming cities. Through a series of lightning talks (no boring panels allowed), mayors, city technology officers and entrepreneurs will showcase what they are doing, what works, what is needed and what is to come at Smart City Day. Co-Hosted by Glass House Policy and Digi.City, the event will take place from 11am - 4pm at the ‘Choose San Antonio’ house on Rainey Street.  You'll hear about how top tech trends - the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, autonomous vehicles, connected buildings and homes, smart grids and more are impacting the most pressing challenges for cities - mobility, affordability, energy, sustainability, access to healthcare and education, citizen engagement, the digital divide and more. Join us, meet smart city leaders from around the world, learn, share and participate in building the cities of the future.

The Partnership for a New American Economy (PNAE) brings together more than 500 Republican, Democratic, and Independent civic and business leaders united in making the case for pragmatic local, state, and federal immigration policies that boost our country’s economic growth and create jobs for all Americans. Our co-chairs and members range from industry leaders to small business owners, employing over 4 million people and generating over $1.4 trillion in annual sales.

PNAE produces economic research on the impacts of immigration at the local, state, and nationals levels and provides technical assistance to state and local governments and chambers of commerce across the U.S. seeking to attract, retain, and integrate immigrants and international talent.
